Squeers: New NSFW Animated LGBT Comedy Series About Gay Squirrels Living In The Big City

Thanks to some wacky South Africans, we have a brand new, quasi-NSFW animated gay comedy series based on Roberto Millan's comic strip Squeers. Squeers follows the lives of Neil and Artel,  two gay squirrels living in the oldest cultivated pear tree in the Cape Town Company’s Garden. This might turn out pretty great. Cute characters abound and I totally adore the animation style and am more than willing to stick with the series and see where it goes. 

Here's the official synopsis:

The support from the NFVF (National Film & Video Foundation) for Squeers will make it the first animated television show of its kind to deal with adult topics pertaining to what it actually means to be a part of the LGBTI community and how as humans we share similar struggles and dreams.

In this character led comedy, our two gay squirrels live in the tree-tops of the City Gardens. Their life is inspired by the pink lifestyle in Cape Town, South Africa, but the Squeers reflects the contemporary macrocosm of human life across the globe. Within the city park, our furry characters experience relatable struggles and issues, with extremely human problems, like love, diets, going green, figuring out what’s real and what’s not, the work place and where to bury their nuts for the night, all while trying to reduce their carbon footprint! 

Squeers has a role to play to normalise sexual diversity, breaking stereotypes and through satire, we hope to humanize shared issues and open dialogues around basic human rights and equality. There is an opportunity, not only for poking fun at perceptions and societal norms and beliefs but through comedy and these anthropomorphised squirrel’s everyday lives; we are able to explore the "tree of life".

Squeers creator Roberto Millan adds, "Cartoons push boundaries, confronting relevant social topics in interesting, entertaining and often funny ways, Squeers was my way of making fun of what I observed in the community, a reaction to gay issues in and around South Africa."

Hulkling & Wiccan: An Endearing Fan Art Series by Chilean Illustrator Cris-Art

For those not in the know, Hulkling and Wiccan are Marvel based superheroes and part of the the Young Avengers team. And, they are pretty much all of gay geekdom's favorite gay couple. We have all fallen in love with them as they have fallen in love with each other.

They are also the favorite subject of Chilean illustrator Cris-Art. For years, she has focused her attention on capturing Teddy and Billy's romance in a manner not shown in the comics, capturing intimate everyday moments and placing them in fantasy situations. Cris-Art basically gives us the romance we would all love to be in - holding hands, longing looks, snuggling in bed, etc...And for those who sponsor Cris-Art on Patreon, you might even get to see some more erotic situations that are exclusive to donors.

Gloryhole v1.4: A Virtual Reality Game Using Oculus Rift A Dildo Controller!

This is one of the more entertaining things we have found lately. Gloryhole v1.4 is a gay, overtly sexual virtual reality game designed for Oculus Rift. The kicker is the game controller is a a dildo. Well, it starts off as a banana, but you remove the peel to reveal the fairly realistic looking dong. You then squeeze, pump, and gently caress your way through various micro games in multiple levels of game play. Once you defeat all the challenges, you get a message saying "Congrats! You came!"

So far creator Mikei Huang has exhibited at Parsons Playtech 2016, and Playcrafting NYC Spring Expo, but we expect you will be hearing a good bit more about this in the near future.
