New Year, New You!

 

As January comes to a close, a lot of resolutions have already fallen to the wayside. We get it. You’re busier than ever and the aspirational goals you set at the beginning of the year feel delusional now.

This is your reminder that taking care of yourself doesn’t have to be hard work. And, in fact, sexual wellness can be fun! Here are some quick and easy ways to practice taking care of your sexual health this new year that don’t feel like hard work. 

1. Protect Yourself

Make sure this 2025 that all your sex is safe sex. That means having a plan to keep you safe, wherever this year takes you. Stock up on condoms. Condoms don’t just keep you safe. 2.  Move Your Body

Even moderate physical activity like yoga in the park, a walk with friends or dancing can have major benefits. Just focus on moving your body in ways that feel fun and intuitive.

3. Embrace Your Community

This year is your year to find your people. Being surrounded by an open, accepting community can reduce feelings of shame and stigma. Whether you’re freshly out of the closet or an ‘elder gay’ you’ll find that connecting with community does wonders to improve your mental and sexual wellness.

4. Get Off!

Alright, we saved the best one for last. Here’s the easiest, most fun and impactful way you can take care of your sexual wellness this year: bust one! Just the simple act of having a big “O” can boost your immune system, help manage stress, improve sleep, and enhance your confidence. Have sex. Masturbate. Buy a new toy. There’s a million ways to do it and they’ll all feel great. (And this is way more achievable than giving up coffee, right?)
