Watch John Cameron Mitchell's Final Performance as Hedwig Singing "Midnight Radio"

On April 26th, John Cameron Mitchell performed Hedwig for the very last time. Earlier this week it was announced that JCM will receive a special Tony Award on June 7th at this years awards show broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall. Personally, I cannot imagine or accept anyone else in the role of Hedwig. It's too unbearable for me to watch other people sing those songs.

With very little fanfare, Atlantic Records dumped the entire Neal Patrick Harris lead cast recording of Hedwig and the Angry Inch on YouTube yesterday. The official release date for physical copies is July 1st. But, you can get it digitally from most music download sites now.

After listening, we have exceptionally strong feelings on the subject. But, we don't want to taint yours. So, take a listen to the both versions of "Origin of Love" and decide for yourself! And to be fair, we will just only include the audio without any video to distract.
