The Floating Beards of Photographer Austin Caine!

Photographer Austin Caine's Floating Beards project is pretty much sure to bring a smile to even the staunchest grump. Caine teamed up with a band of good-natured lads from the Beard and Mustache Club of North Carolina at their annual competition in Charlotte last weekend and the results are pure magic. Caine captures each of these hirsute gentlemen's whimsical inner-selves in a way that is undeniably endearing and often quite hilarious.

Laser Bear University: Class Awards 2014!

Thanks to the efforts of photographer Austin Caine and the awesome dudes at the Beard and Moustache Club of NC, we bring you Laser Bear University: Class Awards 2014. Austin Caine has this amazing 80's style laser beam backdrop made, the cute beardos played along, and the hilarity ensued. It wound up looking an awful lot like tacky yearbook photos. So, my pal Scott M. helped us come up with some completely absurd and ridiculous class awards befitting these bearded beauties. Enjoy!

2014 Carolina Beard and Moustache Competition!

Thanks so much to photographer Austin Caine for letting us use his photos from the 2014 Carolina Beard and Moustache Competition sponsored by the Beard and Moustache Club of NC! Competitors from all over the East Coast took their already wooftastic facial hair to even greater heights! The competition took place Saturday March 22nd at the Chop Shop in Charlotte, NC.
